We’re buzzing to welcome Culture Shock — the legendary English ska-punk band — back to North Devon for a night of high-energy, politically charged music that moves your body and your brain.
Formed in 1986 by Dick Lucas (of Subhumans fame), Culture Shock blend infectious ska rhythms with punk energy and socially conscious lyrics that tackle everything from animal cruelty and war to alienation and hope — all with an uplifting, empowering spirit.
After a powerful run in the '80s and a brief hiatus, the band reformed in 2013 following the release of their retrospective album Everything. Since then, they’ve been back doing what they do best — igniting crowds with their timeless sound and message. The current lineup features original members, now joined by Alex from Citizen Fish on guitar.
Expect a proper punk-ska party from a band that helped shape the scene.
