Hungarian-born pianist Daniel Lebhardt has been described by the New York Times as playing with ‘power, poetry and formidable technique’.
Since being selected as a winner at the 2015 Young Classical Artist Trust (YCAT) auditions, Daniel has performed widely in the UK, Europe, USA, South America, Asia and New Zealand and appeared in many prestigious concert halls. He has also participated in numerous international music festivals.
An avid chamber musician, Daniel regularly collaborates with violinist Benjamin Baker and the Castalian Quartet, and has performed with cellists Alice Neary and Brian O'Kane, violists Rosalind Ventris and Timothy Ridout, and clarinetists Matt Hunt and Julian Bliss among other renowned UK/international artists. Daniel and Benjamin Baker have released two critically acclaimed duo albums with Delphian, and also participated on the composer Matthew Kaner's debut disc featuring his chamber music at the same label. As a soloist he has also recorded for Decca (Schubert) and Naxos (Bartók).
