Event information
Dik Cadbury is best known as bassist, fiddle player, guitarist and vocalist with ‘70’s folk-rockers Decameron and bassist and vocalist with former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett.
More recently he has teamed up with his former Decameron buddy Johnny Coppin and Paul Burgess for Johnny’s annual Christmas ‘All On A Winter’s Night’ tours on guitars and vocals.
Dik has written a considerable number of songs, both solo and in collaboration with Dave Bell (Decameron) and former Steve Hackett vocalist Pete Hicks. Many of these songs appear on his debut CD ‘About Time’ (Choice Of Music 1999) and the follow-up CD ‘Winds of Change’ (2016); also on the self-produced ‘Cadbury-Hicks’ CD (Beach Hut Records 2015), a collection of songs written and produced in collaboration with Pete and featuring a cameo performance by Steve Hackett on harmonica.
Solo appearances provide Dik with a welcome opportunity to present some of this work plus a selection of favourite covers to live audiences in his own right.
