Event information
2 High Energy Sets of 60+ minutes from the original Mod Generation of the mid-60’s and beyond. For the 1st Set we reflect back to the inspirational music of the The Who, Small Faces, The Kinks, Spencer Davis Group, The Animals etc culminating in some dance floor fillers of that era.
The 2nd Set will focus on music from the Mod revivalist period of the late 70’s, so think of The Jam and the “Mod Father” Paul Weller, before moving onto the ever-popular
Ska / 2Tone and the music of Madness, The Specials, The Beat, Bad Manners and even a bit of Dexy’s. The energy continues with some iconic Reggae sounds before we explore, what some would define as the 3rd Mod Revival period of “Brit Pop” of Oasis and Blur
