After the success of the first workshop in July, Joy is running a repeat fruit preserving evening on Thursday, 7th August.
By the end of the session, you should have a sample of bottled fruit and /or jam to take away and an understanding of the theory and practice of preserving fruit in a couple of ways to try on your own at home.
If possible, please bring a clean screw top jar or two with lids and a suitable container to carry them home in as they will be hot. For a small donation there may be an opportunity to take home garden produce to preserve at home.
Date : Thursday, 17th July
Time : 19:00 - 21:00
This activity is funded by Central Bedfordshire Council from the UKSPF Culture Fund.
THE COST OF THIS ACTIVITY IS £5.00 :
- If you are a CBC resident the cost is FULLY DISCOUNTED. However, there is a charge of £2.50 for light refreshments.
- If you live outside the area, there is a charge of £7.50 for the activity and light refreshments.
