Undoubtedly one of the leading harpists in the world today, Alina Bzhezhinska is a one-woman powerhouse on a mission to bring harp to the forefront of contemporary sound.
Bzhezhinska is the creator of HipHarpCollective, who recently won the Parliamentary Jazz Award's Best Ensemble of the Year 2024. The group’s double LP “Reflections” (BBE Music) won best album of the year 2023 by Preston Music and Alina Bzhezhinska’s Quartet was nominated for Best Live Act of the Year at JazzFM Awards 2017. A composer, innovator and collaborator, she worked alongside legendary artists including Brian Jackson, Chaka , Khan, Shabaka Hutchings, Ganavya, DJ Spinna and Sly Johnson.

Out in June 2025, the collaborative album “Whispers of Rain” sees internationally acclaimed harpist Alina Bzhezhinska and Ibiza-based producer Tulshi deliver a set of compositions that are both technically intricate and emotionally resonant, capturing the fleeting beauty of a rainstorm. "Whispers of Rain" was born on the tranquil side of Ibiza, the album being largely inspired by the island’s natural beauty and a profound connection to the life that surrounds us. Both Alina and Tulshi, after traveling the world, found refuge on the island, and this reflective album captures that essence. Tulshi’s wonderful family provided an organic atmosphere, with children’s laughter and playful voices naturally woven into the soundscape. The gentle rhythm of the waves, interpreted by Alina on her harp, adds a serene depth to the music. This album is not just a collection of songs; it’s a heartfelt, honest, and organic journey—an intimate expression of personal connection and the healing power of nature. “I didn’t plan how I wanted to play—I just let it happen,”
Bzhezhinska reflects. “We never even needed another take.”
