Matilda Grace (London)

Matilda fuses pop and rock and is greatly inspired by artists such as Lily Allen, Blondie and The Killers. Voted #1 with "Not Your Ex Yet..." after just 2 weeks in the Unsigned Top 10 Singles Chart! 🚀. Matilda’s strength lies in her commanding songwriting, which fuels her dynamic sound . She navigates emotional extremes with precision, delivering sharp verses and choruses that burn with a bold rock edge. Her sound is for anyone caught in the uncertain space of modern relationships - raw, relatable, and unapologetically direct.

Lewis Monticelli (Brighton)

Taking his first solo steps after performing in an alt rock band, Lewis draws on 90s grunge while exploring more delicate, introspective sounds and a newer direction forward. Influenced by Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake, he delivers emotionally rich, lyrically honest songs that balance vulnerability with raw edge. Lewis returns to Rising Stars by popular demand but this time with his new band by his side.
