Alt Milk presents another incredible night with some of Scotland's best electronic artists.
Post Coal Prom Queen are Lily Higham and Gordon Johnstone. PCPQ have developed a unique sound by blending organic textures, retrofuturistic synths, and mechanical beats with ambitious avant garde and pop sensibilities - fused together with Lily's distinct vocals. They have been heard on BBC Radio 1, 6Music, and BBC Radio Scotland, on TV's Made In Chelsea and in the National Library of Scotland film 'Living Proof', charted on Amazing Radio, and garnered international acclaim. Their three critically acclaimed releases - debut PCPQ EP, concept rap album Music for Hypercapitalists, and operatic new LP Music for First Contact - as well as a slew of highly successful live shows, have cemented PCPQ as one of Scotland's most ambitious and promising acts.
Penny Black is an electronic alternative pop artist, music producer and mix engineer. She recently released her debut self-produced album My Skin Brought Me Here, which lead her to sign a publishing deal with Warner Music. Penny has been featured on BBC Radio Scotland and recently was runner-up in She Creates, a worldwide competition to find the next top women producer, for which her entry was signed to Media Tracks UK for use in fashion advertising.
Valensteïn is an electronic music artist, songwriter and producer. Her work explores neurodivergence, friendship, and early 2000's nostalgia; unlocking core teenage memories for broken millennials. Having released 3 singles she is now working on her debut EP, Day Dreamer, and describes her sound as post punk alt pop laptop trash.
