M'ANAM ("My Soul" in the Irish language) is an Ireland-based male voice group whose performances evoke soundscapes rooted in nature and the universality of the human condition. The guys have managed to fuse music from Ireland, with its strong connection to the land, with a diversity of sounds and ideas. These encompasses Nordic songs about viking funeral rites, songs of the Celtic traditions and lands with ancient chant-like sonic textures that lend a timeless quality to their work M’ANAM have headlined concerts at Dublin’s Tradfest and Glasgow’s Celtic Connections and brought their unique sound to Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Canada in the last few years, and were in residence at Limerick Sings in June 2025. They released their debut album M’ANAM in November 2019, reissued and remastered in 2023. In 2025 their follow-up will appear - an exploration of island people and their connections to the sea and their environment.
