Rachel was guitarist and singer in the seminal 70/80’s band Dolly Mixture who were signed to Paul Wellers' ‘Respond’ label and championed by The Undertones & John Peel. She has released 2 solo albums as Rachel Love, ‘Picture in Mind’ in 2021 and ‘Lyra’ in 2024. She now plays live gigs with her son’s band Telecom.
Last of the lovely days are a Brighton based, female fronted melodic indie pop band making music inspired by jangly indie, 60’s girl groups and 80’s new wave.
Helen McCookerybook is an outstanding songwriter whose beginnings formed in the punk era. In the 80’s she was lead singer and bassist of the Chefs who played with Dolly Mixture many times, so this makes it a very special reunion.
