Laptop (@laptoptheband), the cult electro-pop project of Jesse Hartman, returns to London for their first headlining UK show in two decades. Known for sharp wit, deadpan delivery, and synth-driven hooks, Laptop first emerged on Island/Universal in the late ’90s with underground anthems like End Credits and I’m So Happy You Failed. Rebooted in 2025 with Jesse’s son Charlie joining on vocals, the band now fuses sardonic songwriting with a powerful full-band energy that nods to Stop Making Sense. Expect a set that spans the old cult favorites and the new era — “Weirder” went viral this June with over 4 million TikTok views, while follow-up single “Animals” is already on the loose. The new album, On This Planet, orbits in Spring 2026.
