LUIZGA: "YEMAMAYA" vinyl release show

The wonderful Luizga is coming all the way back to play again at Common Ground on his UK Tour to launch his new vinyl album ‘’YEMAMAYA” with an acoustic performance.

Following the success of his track “YEMAMAYA”, which has become an essential title to many DJs around the world thanks to its inclusion in a compilation of the french famous tastemaker Guts, and also to its adoption by numerous radios and its breakthrough on streaming platforms, Brazilian composer and singer Luiz Gabriel Lopes, aka LuizGa, releases his new album in a vinyl edition on June 2025, blending his acoustic guitar with trip-hop, soul, and Afro-Brazilian rhythms into a sound that connects tradition with contemporary influences. His unique style heirs the Brazilian tradition of names like Jorge Ben and Gilberto Gil.

On this UK tour, LuizGa performs solo, in an acoustic format, with his nylon-string guitar. Revisiting the album’s songs, his setlist also includes tracks from LuizGa´s older albums, and a couple of very special versions from other authors, in a stripped-down setting, creating unique arrangements with brazilian rich and subtle acoustic music nuances.
