Ed Hopwood is one of the UK’s leading harmonica teachers, known for his engaging workshops, rich musicality, and down-to-earth teaching style. As frontman of The Rigmarollers and creator of the popular Harmonica Barge YouTube channel, Ed has helped thousands of players find their groove—from complete beginners to seasoned blues jammers.
This workshop is open to all levels, with a special focus on helping new players get started and pointing them in the right direction. Expect:
• Simple, practical exercises to build confidence
• Tips on rhythm, tone, and technique
• A relaxed, inclusive atmosphere with plenty of bluesy charm
• Guidance on what to practice and how to progress
Bring at least a Diatonic harmonica in the key of C.
