Steven Spielberg's presence is felt throughout this slick, suburban spooktacular. Not least in the fact that is was given a PG rating despite being genuinely terrifying and gory. Masterful timing and emotional balance gives this horror masterpiece a perfect pace to close out another awesome Shocktober festival.
