A rising lark, a shimmering dawn and an entire new world... all in one evening?!

That's right, our first concert pogramme celebrating the start of our 30th concert season begins with the lyrical and moving, a national favourite, The Lark Ascending, by Vaughan Williams, with the solo played by our very brilliant leader, Corey Wickens. This will then be followed by the climactic masterpiece, Daphne et Chloe Suite 2, by Ravel, and closing out with arguably one of the world's most iconic symphonies: none other than Dvorak's "New World" Symphony no.9!
