Event information

Following the success of the critically acclaimed album, ‘Source’, the James Kerry Trio is now putting the finishing touches on their follow-up.

‘Tributaries‘ which will be launched with a full UK and European tour in October this year. Don’t miss them at Cafe No9 on the 15th October.

“In terms of sheer ability, this album is wonderful. Every tune is perfect, every piece of the music crafted expertly to form an evocative, confident medley.” Bright Young Folk.

Tributaries

Building on the themes of Source, Tributaries features a sparkling blend of original compositions and traditional material and continues our exploration of rivers, both as a source of inspiration and a symbol of connection in our music. From the subtle and sensitive to the foot stomping and furious, layered with detail and bursting with energy, this is a confident, outward-looking album at the leading edge of English traditional music.
