DREAMING OF FLIGHT (Shorts)
A collection of short animations designed to appeal to young children.

1. FULL NEST (Dir: Elena Walf) - When a flood breaks out all the forest animals flee to Lena’s Farm.

2. TEARS OF THE CLOUD (Dir: Anya Ru & Masha Rumyantseva) - The animals in the forest don’t want to play with the little restless cloud.

3. THE CHIPMUNK & THE SQUIRREL (Dir: Kim Su-min) - The curious Chipmunk is excited to meet his new neighbour.

4. CLOUD FISH (Dir: Noé Garcia) - A very tiny fish sails in a vast underwater city. Is he too small to see the world like the big ones do?

5. SKETCHES ON ICE (Dir: Marion Auvin) - It snowed! Lou and Marius are playing in the street, building a snowman.

6. FOUND! (Dir: Juliette Baily) As Anna wanders through the snow, she meets an unexpected playmate.

7. DREAMING OF FLIGHT (Dir: Elena Walf) - A hen is only supposed to lay eggs, but this one, wants to fly!

8. TIN TUNE (Dir: Carolyn Gair) - Zip and Wheel explore shadowy corners of a long-forgotten nursery.

9. FIRST FLIGHT (Dir: Adrián Jaffé) - Three little birds, a symphony of frogs, and a first flight unlike any other.

10. A DREAM TAKES FLIGHT (Dir: Chiara Kiki Helm, Michele Mistrorigo & Thomas Gavazzeni) - A little penguin has a dream: To learn to fly!

11. HOW THE BEAR COMPOSED A SONG (Dir: Kristína Bajaníková) - The friendship between a contemplative bear and a group of loud animals.

Age Recommendation: 5+ / Duration: 65 mins.

Start Time: 10.30am (Exit Time: 11.35am).

FACE PAINTING (POST-SCREENING) – We will have a face painting station set-up at the back of the Ulster Museum Lecture Theatre from 11.35am.
