AN INTRODUCTION TO SFX MAKE-UP - Join multi award-winning makeup artist Connie McGrath for a fun and hands-on introduction to special effects makeup! In this interactive workshop, Connie will guide you through the basics of creating realistic cuts, bruises, and scratches using professional techniques and materials. You’ll even get the chance to make your own edible fake blood! Perfect for budding makeup artists, film fans, or anyone who loves a bit of hands-on creativity.
Connie McGrath is a multi-award-winning makeup artist specialising in film and television, known for her incredible work in SFX, character creation, and bringing imaginative looks to life.
For Ages: 8-14 / Duration: 90 mins.
Start Time: 3.30pm (Exit Time: 5.00pm).
Venue: Ulster Museum, Learning Zone.
This is a drop-off workshop. Parent/guardian supervision is not required. On the day of the workshop, parent/guardian will be asked to fill in a contact details registration form before the event.
