Nick Ramm is a British jazz pianist and composer. He toured extensively and recorded with The Cinematic Orchestra featuring on Live At The Royal Albert Hall.
After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music his professional career led him to work in live bands with Sir Tom Jones, Jim Mullen, Byron Wallen, Dave Okumu, Zhenya Strigalev and many others. His session work credits include Matthew Herbert, Gabrielle, Joss Stone and Adele and he has toured extensively with Mulatu Astatke.
Nick Ramm Ensemble is proud to present fresh compositions drawing from Ramm's roots in post-bop and modern jazz, with a wide palette of influences in the mix: Brazilian, Cuban, Ghanaian music, contemporary funky flavours mixed with minimal and more free moments.
