Our season finale, expertly conducted by Alexander Walker, is a celebration of orchestral power and virtuosity.
Bringing the season to a dramatic conclusion is Prokofiev’s thrilling Sinfonia Concertante – a dazzling showpiece for cello and orchestra – and Rachmaninov’s mighty Symphony No. 1, with its darkly romantic energy surging from the very first bars.
