Event information
The Edinburgh Chinese Community Orchestra (aka Harmony Ensemble) was established 25 years ago as a group of local musicians and visiting students who love performing Chinese music.
They perform at many events throughout Scotland, often representing the Chinese Community at traditional celebrations, bringing Chinese music to a wider community.
Including Eddie McGuire (of Whistlebinkies fame, and a prominent composer) who introduces the pieces. This is an informal event, where the audience are invited to touch and play the instruments and chat to the performers!
