Come and dance the night away to lively folk tunes from our local musicians. You'll be guided through the dances by our expert caller. No experience necessary. LQBTQ+ friendly & accessible. Profits will be donated to All Our Relations (supporting families in crisis in Gaza) and Rukhsana Khan Foundation (helping local families access food in Walthamstow).

What is a ceilidh? Pronounced kay-lee, ceilidh is a Gaelic word used to denote a social gathering, often involving music and dancing. Most modern day ceilidhs involve live music, and a caller who teaches the crowd several simple dances over the course of the evening, drawn from traditional Scottish, Irish or English repertoire. The emphasis is on fun, easy dances and there's very little to get wrong with no pressure to learn complicated footwork or precise movements. It's all about dancing in a way that is enjoyable for you!

Our event will also feature a raffle with a host of great prizes donated by local businesses in Walthamstow. So come and join us for a night of dancing in aid of two great causes.
