A Saturday night of Louisiana-style ragtime punk, bluegrass, hillbilly ska, show tunes and pre-war blues at Jamboree with the fantastic 8-piece Elasticated Waste Band, with support from ace Highlife and Reggae performer Planetman!
Headliners The Elasticated Waste Band are a a raggle-taggle, travelling minstrel ensemble of banjo pickers, Howlin' Slim harmonica lickers, ukulele flickers, fiddle diddlers, crooners and swooners making for a veritable old-timey, medicine show of freaky Louisianna style rag-time punk! Expect a drunken but majestic pile-up of pre-war blues, show tunes, hillbilly ska, foot-stompin' bluegrass and classic pop.
Support on the night comes from Planetman, blending highlife guitars and reggae with earnest folk and brightly soulful vocals. A founding member of iconic London venue Passing Clouds, his monthly Little Blue Ball parties spanned over a decade, legendary for their eclectic mix of music, people and sky-high vibes.
Jamboree food option: Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
