'Behold Ye Ramblers’ is the story of the beginnings of the struggle for the right to roam freely across open moors on ancient paths and enjoy the benefits of outdoor activities and pursuits.

This is a highly entertaining celebration through Music Hall, poetry and song of the birth of The Clarion newspaper and the movement that grew in its name.

Townsend Theatre Productions have an outstanding reputation for producing imaginative, entertaining, socially relevant live theatre. They brought us a moving production of The Ragged Trouser’d Philanthropist four years ago.
