Event information
Oriole’s Jonny Phillips new quintet will perform a new set of compositions, where minimal melodies meet West African rhythms, Brazilian northeast, art rock, blues, ambient soundscapes and modal jazz improvisation. Utilising electric guitars, rather than the largely acoustic sound of Oriole.
Featuring: Jonny Phillips - electric guitar, Ruth Goller - bass, Idris Rahman - sax, Dan Hewson - keys/trombone, Adriano Adewale - percussion and Andres Ticino - percussion.
