An afternoon symposium with five speakers exploring the cultural and political significance of Cunninghame Graham's travels and travel-writing; the question of his wife Gabriela's identity and his collusion in the deception at its heart; his writing about women and the equality of the sexes. Also readings from the recently published Complete Scottish Sketches. Sponsored by the University of Glasgow and the Cunninghame Graham Society.
