Sam Miles and Tim Boniface return for their ever popular ‘Hard Bop Hang’ at The LAB. Perfectly matched and always showing mutual love for one another’s playing, these two top sax players at the heart of Cambridge’s jazz scene host an evening of outstanding music and relentless energy in this classy and intimate setting of The LAB Cocktail Bar and Kitchen - home of the popular monthly Sunday Jazz Sessions.

A sellout for the last three years, early booking is advised!

“Sam Miles is making a memorable impression on the UK jazz scene… a talented, creative saxophonist. You would do well to try and catch him live” Sandy Brown.

Tim Boniface is a saxophonist, pianist and composer whose latest album 'Psalter: Themes for Peace' has received critical acclaim in the UK and overseas. He collaborates regularly with many of the UK's very best jazz musicians, both as artistic director of Girton Jazz and as the host of the Sunday Sessions at The Lab.

“A joyous buoyancy in his playing” Jazzwise.

“Boniface has a fine melodic sense both as a composer and improviser and makes a wonderful focussed sound on his vintage horns.” UK Jazz News
