Iconic venue Jazzlive at The Crypt turns 30 next month and we invite you to join us for our celebration on Fri 24th October. Leading the celebration will be a fine ensemble - Mingus Moves -named after the album of that title by jazz legend Charles Mingus,

Leading the line up is bassist, band leader and co-founder of Tomorrow's Warriors Gary Crosby OBE, and for this special celebratory concert he is joined by some of the finest talent in London - Alex Ho - piano, Mark Kavuma - trumpet, David Kayode - sax, Miranda Radford - drums, Christ-Stéphane Boizi - trombone, and Nahuel Angius-Thomas - bassoon.

A note on Mingus Moves . . . . .

For this special celebration, Crosby will lead his band through his personal favourite from the Mingus catalogue – Mingus Moves, recorded in 1973 and possibly his last great album. There will also be some classic Mingus tracks including Goodbye Pork Pie Hat and II BS.
