Boo Hewerdine is an acclaimed English singer-songwriter, record producer, and one of Britain's most respected songwriters, known for his work with the band The Bible, his extensive solo career, and numerous collaborations, including a significant partnership with Eddi Reader and having his songs recorded by artists like k.d. lang and Natalie Imbruglia. Born Mark Hewerdine in London in 1961, he developed a passion for songwriting at a young age and formed his first bands in Cambridge before achieving success with the cult band The Bible in the 1980s. After the band's split, he continued his prolific career as a solo artist and a sought-after songwriter, producer, and collaborator.

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control the Jon Strong Band gig on October the 8th has had to be postponed to a future date tbc.
I am extremely grateful that Boo Hewerdine (https://boohewerdine.com) has at the last minute stepped in to appear in place of Jon.
You may well know that Boo has a sparkling musical CV, a fabulous live performer and is a long standing band member and musical collaborator with Eddi Reader amongst many others.
Boo is appearing with local trio The Cellar Thieves and also Anna, who was recently featured on BBC Radio 2 Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe. (https://www.anna-music.co.uk)

Tickets for this Boo Hewerdine gig are naturally more expensive than the Jon Strong ticket price.....£16 advance....£20 on the door.....£55 for a Group of 4 Discount Ticket. However, any tickets previously bought will be honoured at no extra cost.
Should you decide to request a refund please do so via the usual Wegottickets site. On the other hand... if you're 'not sure' and hopefully decide to come to the gig anyway, and it's either not to your taste....( or not worth the extra few quid)......I'll happily buy you a beer!
