andy white is a northern Irish singer-songwriter born in Belfast .
he started writing poetry and music early,penning poems including one called “ riots”, aged nine ,which was later included in his first collection.
he released his first ep “ religious persuasion “ in 1985 on stiff records.
since then he has released fourteen solo albums, plus numerous compilations and live albums, & had collaborated with many other artists including Peter Gabriel, sinead o Connor, & English producer John leckie.
