ELLESMERE PORT FRIDAY 5TH DECEMBER 2025. Comedy Night Live is back at The Whitby Sports and Social Club with a quality line up of 3 fantastic professional comedians alongside your brilliant host and compere Bobby Murdock.

On the nights line up we have:
Headliner Paul Sinha
As seen on ITV's The Chase and heard on BBC Radio Four.
Sinha began performing stand-up while still working as a junior doctor. He is an accomplished club and festival comedian who has performed internationally. He is a regular on BBC Radio 4 on shows like The News Quiz, Just a Minute, and The Now Show. He has also appeared on TV programs such as Taskmaster, QI & Would I Lie To You?

Steve Cookson

Hailing from the NorthWest, Cookson exploded onto the UK comedy scene in 2014, and since then has rapidly become one of the most in demand acts on the circuit. Winning several high profile competitions, and supporting bills with TV name comics like Gary Delaney, Justin Moorhouse and Rob Beckett.

Archie Kelly

Described by Peter Kay as a very funny fella, Archie is best known for his portrayal of Kenny (Dalglish) Senior in the award winning Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights.
He has also appeared in a number of popular TV shows such as Peter Kay’s Car Share, Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, Coronation Street and Max and Paddy’s Road To Nowhere.

MC Bobby Murdock
Bobby is instantly likeable with the ability to take you on a journey with him.
