As the last leaves twitch on spindle branches, casting long fingered shadows against autumn's dank dirge...a brittle bonedry voice beckons you down, down...below that common ground you know so well. Into a space beneath, a warren dark and dry, familiar yet strange and filled with shining eyes. Where past and present meet as one, and stories old yet neverdead exhale through shadow, waiting...waiting there for you to hear, and to remember once again....
Join us down in the Curio crypt for a special evening of shadow storytelling, just in time for Halloween!
Artist and raconteur Karis Harrington welcomes you to witness a unique performance on her mechanical shadow theatre, the Crankie, as she performs 'Feed The Echo' - a dark fable redolent with folk horror ambience.
So come and get cosy in a darkly atmospheric setting, surrounded by stories, and let the shadows in...
