The time of year may be cold and dreary, but winter is brimming with inspiration for writers! Whether you're a complete beginner or a more experienced writer, this workshop is for you. In a safe and friendly atmosphere, Cath will help you to find your themes, plot and characters and you will leave with the outline of an original story that is all your own.
In a series of accessible and enjoyable exercises, we will explore:
What makes winter a special time for weaving stories
How to create a wintry mood in your writing
Ways of finding your narrative
How to show your characters' response to the season
Cath is a published writer, Chair of Walsall Writers' Circle and an experienced workshop leader. Her workshops have been rated 'Excellent' by Ofsted.
