The Intransigents – taking a stripped down and direct approach to some incendiary American and British alternopop smasheroos. Taking on a playlist of CBGBs/Paisley Underground/UK Post-Punk covers- but not ones you’ll hear anyone else play!

Their version of Magazine’s The Light Pours Out Of Me was so on point last time round youngsters were googling the band and adding them to their Spotify playlists in real time! Great stuff.

Carousel – Post punk agit prop of an explosive intensity, with a psychedelic wig out sheen. Vocally it’s a Mike Skinner-esque spoken word delivery, with menaces. Tunes are short sharp and to the point, all in all, blistering work.

Collette Warren Band – an organic take on Drum and Bass and other EDM styles from Brizzle. “With a unique blend of energy and artistry, the group has established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the live music landscape. The brainchild of Collette Warren, a seasoned vocalist with over 14 years of experience in the drum and bass genre, the band combines pulsating rhythms with soulful melodies to create an unforgettable auditory experience. Sold – perhaps undersold with the moniker, but you’ll do well to invest your eyes and ears here…. Nicely twitchy and scratchy art punk touches and a bit of that early Libertines shambling shonkiness makes for a can’t look away Uber cool presence. Arrive early to enjoy them to the full.
