Step into the warm glow of St Lawrence Church on a crisp winter evening for an enchanting night of music, words, and festive wonder, all raising money for AAF 2026!

Join us for “A Candlelit Christmas”. Featuring musical performances from AAF’s own Richard Walters and Louisa Hunter-Bradley, plus the (soon to be annual and legendary) flashmob-Christmas-play directed by Lee Branston. These AAF superstars will be joined by acclaimed singer-songwriter Jolé, for an atmospheric night like no other.

Featuring
• Richard Walters (acclaimed singer-songwriter and Grammy-nominated artist), and Louisa Hunter-Bradley (sought-after classical singer) performing brand-new Christmas material for the first time.
• Jolé, the London-based songwriter whose blend of folk, indie and electronic sounds will transport you somewhere between Bon Iver and a snow-dusted dreamscape.

Plus a few festive twists…
• A surprise flashmob Christmas play, directed by local legend Lee Branston. Will it be A Christmas Carol, or Die Hard? You’ll have to come along to find out…
• A mass sing-along, where everyone’s invited to join in a carol or two.
• Storytelling and poetry for extra festive feels.

All hosted by the wonderful Lee Branston — Alton’s own master of ceremonies, whose wit and charm will light up the night brighter than the fairy lights.
