Circa 79 are a whole heap of Funtime! Performing punk, mod, ska and new wave from – you got it – around about the late 1970s, the band is known for its energetic performances that recreate the sound and feel of the era. What an era!
The band’s music is a mix of punk, ska, and new wave, with, yes, a particular emphasis on the late 70s and early 80s sound. Fulfilling the role of a “time machine” for its audience, delivering songs as they remember them and putting a fresh spin on classics from the period. This will be one hell off a party, come on down.
