SWEETPOOL create a thrilling, intense melting pot of psychedelic punk, trance like repetition and space noises. Powered by a pulsating rhythm section alongside the drone of what they call the ‘E pedal’ and augmented by bubbling synths.
Out of that melee comes something that, in another world, you could almost call pop. Think Can, Hawkwind, Wire, even The Groundhogs hurled together with a dose of post-punk, face paint and a big chorus. Three minute angular pop, wig outs and the
occasional techno beat. Genres are made to be ignored. Preconceptions are made to be shattered.

New Album '3AM: A Head of Snakes' is scheduled for release in the very near future.

Last year they released their debut single The Black Post/If and EP The New Normality on tape cassette and bandcamp.
The tapes sold quickly at live shows owing to the bands' consistently powerful performances. Physical copies of the single have subsequently sold out and there are only a few copies left of the EP. The band are now in the last stages of producing their third release, the EP New Lines Of Enquiry, due out very soon.
