Mexican duo Lorelle Meets The Obsolete are back in the UK in May. Touring with a full band to promote their 7th studio album ‘Corporal’ they play an early evening show at The Foxlowe Arts Centre on Sunday 10th May.

Lancaster noise-rock-post-punk trio TV FACE have built up a fierce reputation for their ability to weld dissonant chaos to pop hooks and turn it into something blistering, witty, and impossible to ignore… “it’s rare to hear a band this grainy and coarse produce such classy, infectious music” (Vive Le Rock).

Their much anticipated second album, WOLF RENTS BARK, released in September 2025 via Preston’s cult label Crackedankles Records, received rave reviews from Louder Than War, Vive Le Rock, The Punk Site and many more. It made several best of 2025 lists, including landing at number 7 in Louder Than War’s Top 100 Albums of 2025.

Dead Bird Lady is a solo alternative/indie project led by French-Mexican multi-
instrumentalist, based in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Merging her fascination for folklore
and alternative music she creates on stage fascinating soundscapes with a mix of string
instruments and electric eFect pedals. You may hear in her bewitching vocals and
harmony-drenched melodies the echoes of artists such as Tori Amos, Florence + The
Machine, and Aurora.

Originally from Guadalajara and now based in Ensenada, Baja California, Lorelle Meets The Obsolete formed in 2011 around the core duo of Lorena Quintanilla and Alberto González. They quickly caught the attention of the psych scene with their first two albums, On Welfare and Corruptible Faces.
Since signing with UK label Sonic Cathedral in 2013, the band has toured extensively across Mexico, the UK, Europe, and the US. Over the past decade, their sound has gradually evolved from its psychedelic roots toward a more exploratory direction, incorporating analog synths and sonic search reminiscent of bands like Wire. This progression is evident across albums such as Chambers, Balance, De Facto, and Datura. Along the way, they’ve collaborated with artists like Emma Anderson (Lush), Dälek, and Pye Corner Audio, and have earned fans in the likes of Henry Rollins and Iggy Pop.
