Mighty collaborators and eternal companions, Guranfoe and The Fool's Moon converge on a Winter's night this December for one show only. See you in Norwich. Don't miss it!
The Fool's Moon blend touches of prog, psychedelia and Americana with a baseline of raw-and-ready rock. Equally likely to break into challenging instrumental passages as they are a heart-breaking lyrical ballads, they ride a line forged by pioneering groups such as Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd.
Guranfoe is a four-piece rock band formed in Norwich, England in 2012 whose music fuses psychedelic boogie with progressive rock intricacy. These styles combine with years of cohesive group playing to produce a live show defined by energetic medleys, stellar musicianship, intense musical improvisation and extended jams.
The night will be opened by Jim Holland, a singer-songwriter blending English and American folk revival. He combines intricate fingerstyle guitar with thoughtful lyrics exploring themes from loss to deforestation. Taking inspiration from ’60s and ’70s greats, as well as early train blues, Jim’s lyrical approach has been likened to Bob Dylan and Paul Simon.
