On Tuesday 4th November, Angel Bat Dawid & Naima Nefertari will perform live at “mu”.
Angel Bat Dawid is a composer and multi-instrumentalist, and Naima Nefertari is a pianist and visual artist that also serves as the curator and archivist of the Estate of Moki Cherry and Cherry Archives.
Both artists have long standing shows on NTS that present spiritually awakened music for deep listening and contemplation.
Their recent album Journey To Nabta Playa on Spritmuse Records is a powerful meditation on memory, mythology, and ancestral science, drawing inspiration from the ancient astrological stone circle of Nabta Playa in the remote deserts of Nubia.
The intimate, candle-lit performance on Tuesday 4th November will take the audience on sonic journey through sacred time and space, weaving together spiritual jazz, storytelling, celestial electronics and ancestral instruments.
Doors will open at 7pm.
The performance will start at 8pm.
No entry will be permitted after the performance has commenced.
