His most recent album, ‘Songs for Nina and Johanna’ (2025) is a collection of duets with Nina Persson (The Cardigans) and Johanna Söderberg (First Aid Kit).

His most recent novel, ‘Tommy the Bruce’, The Sunday Mail called "An outstandingly well written, emotionally complex slice of Scottish noir"

With

Kate Stables (This is the Kit)

Kate's music places companionship at a premium, so being welcomed into its space feels like an obvious privilege, whether on record and in concert hall with her band This is the Kit, in her many collaborations with likeminded artists such as The National or in her solo work. And at this current point in our confusing history, continuing to be here at all, to stand tall and make music to gather to, that's a heroic act. Joyful survival as an act of time-wasting. Look to Kate Stables to spend at least one day of your week this year, we can guarantee it will be time well wasted.

Phill Jupitus with Kirsty Newton

Poet, comedian, broadcaster, actor and artist Phill Jupitus swaps slinging vitriol for singing verses with a swift recap of life in song, backed by Kirsty Newton, (Comedy Store Players, Arthur Smith, all round human Jukebox...) Expect beloved covers, challenging originals and seat of the musical pants style improvisation. NO JAZZ.

The Elidas

The Elidas are identical twins, Venice and Belle, from Aberdeen. Compared with everyone from First Aid Kit to the Cranberries, they've been writing and performing together since they were 11 and are busy working on their second album, for release in 2026. Recently playing to sold out audiences on the main stage at Coastfest and the Eden Court Theatre Under Canvas Festival, the girls continue to hold audiences spellbound in their richly painted world, drawing inspiration from the Scottish landscape and culture with which they've grown up.
