Event information

We are truly honoured to announce, as part of The London Int’l Ska Festival 2026, the headline band for our world famous Dixie Queen Thames cruise will be the legendary 2 Tone stars - The Selecter.

Led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black OBE, The Selecter are known the world over for hits including “Three Minute Hero,” “Missing Words,” “Too Much Pressure” and “On My Radio”.

The recent feature documentary Pauline Black: A 2-Tone Story, had its premiere at the BFI’s London Film Festival in October 2024 followed by regional screenings in 60 Odeon cinemas, Sky Arts and NOW TV. It’s also being shown internationally at film festivals around the world this year including Copenhagen, Berlin and Barcelona. Based on her memoir ‘Black by Design’, Pauline tells her extraordinary life story in the same frank manner that helped shape her as an iconic, era-defining female musician.

The Selecter, featuring original drummer Charley ‘Aitch’ Bembridge, continue to tour and release new music proving that 2-Tone is still as relevant and important as it was 45 years ago.

They play day 2 of The London International Ska Festival 2026 - Good Friday 3rd April onboard the beautiful Dixie Queen paddle steamer. This unique venue sails the Thames and takes in London’s sights from it’s oldest vantage point. They even open Tower Bridge for us!

We hope you’ll be able to join us for this truly once in a lifetime events.
