A Saturday night of heartwarming Bossa Nova and energy-filled samba rhythms at Jamboree to dance the night away! We also have a supporting set from ace solo act Tom Conrad Johnson.
João Menezes is a Portuguese guitarist and singer that specialises in Brazilian music. He explores different styles, including but not limited to, Bossa Nova, Samba, Samba-Rock and Baião, with arrangements from Jorge Ben, Seu Jorge, João Bosco, Djavan, Tom Jobim and many others.
In support is North East London's ace singer, guitarist and songwriter Tom Conrad Johnson. Tom's songs blend poetry and music and draw influences from artists like Blind Willie McTell, Tom Waits, Nick Drake and Jake Thackray.
Jamboree food option: Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
