The village of Box holds a special place in British music history. Nearby stands Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, where Marillion recorded their latest album An Hour Before It’s Dark. It is the perfect setting for Marquee Square Heroes, the UK’s leading tribute to Fish-era Marillion, to present their show “Real to Reel World.”

The title pays homage to Marillion’s classic 1984 live album Real to Reel while celebrating the enduring influence of the band’s early years. Expect favourites from Script for a Jester’s Tear, Fugazi and Misplaced Childhood, along with deeper cuts and selections from Clutching at Straws. Each performance is delivered with the care, energy and authenticity that this music deserves.

Marquee Square Heroes take their name from one of Marillion’s most iconic early songs, first performed during the band’s legendary shows at London’s Marquee Club. Their performances capture the same passion and spirit that fuelled those formative gigs and inspired a generation of fans.

For one night, The Queen’s Head will echo with the sound of classic Marillion, brought vividly back to life in the heart of Box.
