Sam Davey is an award-winning author of fantasy and speculative fiction, with work featured in anthologies including Breaking Through The Penumbra (Cicada Song Press, Sept 2025). Her latest novel, The Chosen Queen (Diversion Books/Simon & Schuster, June 2025), is a feminist retelling of Camelot’s origins.
Sam is Head of Transformation at London’s Royal Opera House (sadly, no magic wands are available), lives by the sea in Bexhill, and founded the Hastings Book Festival. She also chairs the Hastings Writers Group.
