About the course
On this exciting double workshop you will learn to weave two sculptural pieces for your garden, first making a 5ft plant wigwam perfect for growing beans, sweet peas, clematis and other climbing plants and the second, a giant poppy seed head to adorn your flower beds. Using simple weaving techniques this workshop is a great introduction to weaving so perfect for beginners and returners - though some hand strength is needed to make the most of this workshop.
About the Tutor
Rachel Harwood
Drawing on my experiences of wildlife and nature, I use British grown willow from Somerset to create sculptures for the home and garden. Connecting with the natural environment is my passion and I try to capture the movement of nature in my sculptures. I love to teach my practices on and inspire people on the use and beauty of natural materials to reconnect with the natural world.
