Think Sex Pistols, The Specials, Clash, The Ramones, UK Subs, Sham 69, Damned, Stooges, Buzzcocks, The Ruts and many more. “If you can recall a favourite punk tune from the 70’s then chances are The Beaulocks have it covered.”

Cue Clichee – punk rock is a very broad church, and these fine boys out of Merseyside play a mighty, melodic, metallic variant with influences from all them big American bands of the nineties who had a number in their name!

Akadem – this young band really wowed not just the Dublin Castle audience last time round, but also the staff. No mean feat! Some remarkable covers tackled brilliantly, and impressive original material too. A refreshing take on alternopop.
