Usual housewife-host Jo Neary will be hovering about and running the door.

On Nick:

Nick Revell started writing satirical and topical material for BBC Radio and TV in the late ‘70s on satirical shows like Weekending, The News Huddlines and Not the Nine O’Clock News.

He began his career as stand-up comedian at The Comedy Store in 1980.

TV and Radio work as a writer and performer of sitcoms, sketch shows and stand-up includes The Nick Revell Show, Drop the Dead Donkey, The Million Pound Radio Show and most recently Bro-kenDreamCatcher -

“sublimely surreal” - Gillian Reynolds, Sunday Times

“…so good…uplifting stuff.” Miranda Sawyer, Observer

His latest book is Portrait of the Dog as a Young Artist, a version of one of his recent stage shows, illustrated by Martin Rowson. Nick has written material for many other performers including Dave Allen, Rory Bremner, Tracey Ullman, and most recently Tom Walker’s alter ego, Jonathan Pie, with whom he has worked on both live shows and two series of the award-winning BBC Radio sitcom Call Jonathan Pie in which he plays regular cast member Roger

On Martin:

Martin Rowson is a satirist, political cartoonist, illustrator, graphic novelist, author, performer, broadcaster and poet,

His 'visual journalism' – "[the] scourge of the political establishment" – currently appears regularly in The Guardian, The Morning Star and Byline Times (he's previously been published by everyone you can think of apart from The Sun and Private Eye and performed everywhere from India to the Edinburgh Fringe).

In 2000 he was appointed Cartoonist Laureate for London when Ken Livingstone was Mayor of the City.

His books include graphic adaptations of The Waste Land, Tristram Shandy and The Communist Manifesto, as well as an updated riff on Alexander Pope's The Dunciad in 2050 lines of heroic couplet. His memoir Stuff was long-listed for the Samuel Johnson Prize.

He was awarded an honorary fellowships by Goldsmiths College in 2014 and the Zoological Society of London in 2023.

Linton Kwezi Johnson summed up one of his performances at the Laugharne Weekend as "the dog's bollocks", Eliza Carthy MBE called him her "spirit animal" and in 2017 The Daily Mail ran a full page editorial accusing him and his work of being "disgusting... deranged... sick and offensive."

The Lamb Comedy night is Eastbourne’s longest running alternative comedy night, est 2009 and constantly delighting and surprising regular audiences and newcomers alike.

We keep the ticket prices low to make sure it’s affordable to all. If you want to choose a higher price ticket, this supports the lowest price tickets, we leave it up to you to choose, simply pick a ‘pay what you like'.

The low ticket prices in no way reflect the quality of the night. We look forward to seeing you at this brilliant line up for our December show. Booking is essential, as space is very limited, this is a small venue. Line ups are always subject to change if there are circumstances beyond our control. We’ve been lucky so far..
