A night of folk & indie-rock in Leamington Spa

Following a handful of era-defining shows at the Irish Club, Green Hands are back in town in support of forthcoming LP 'Everything's Proof'. The album is the clearest distillation of the project, started in 2016 by Jack Telford, which looks to maintain its strong DIY roots whilst evolving in both songwriting and sound helped by enlistment of the 'Floaters' - the famed crack squad of Midlands-based musicians and vagrants. Sound exciting? It's new stuff, it's old stuff, it's good stuff.

Playing alongside Green Hands is Zach Thompson. Born and raised in West Yorkshire, Zach is a folk singer rooted in the time-honoured bardic and balladeer traditions of both the British and Irish isles. Having long cut his teeth in the dusty venues of South-East London, his work synthesises a vast range of literary and musical influences, from English Modernism and the poetry of the French symbolists to the broadsides of Appalachian folk and the Beat Generation. His debut EP, ‘Algebra Parable’, arrived on 12th June and has garnered much acclaim including plays on BBC 6 Music and a slot at Rotterdam's Left Of The Dial Festival. We're really excited to have Zach perform in Leamington in February.
