Get Writing! With Rosemary Hill

Event information

The session will introduce participants to writing generally and how to overcome barriers and writers' block. There will be fun exercises to get participants writing and a look at how plays are constructed.
The session is suitable for any age over 18 and for absolute beginners, but even those with some experience will gain confidence and skills.
This is a 3 hour workshop from 10am-1pm
Please bring: Pen and paper to take notes

This session is run by Rosemary Hill – a professional writer, director and producer of theatre, TV, radio and film. Rosemary is also a qualified teacher with degrees in English and Drama and holds an advanced creating writing qualification from the Open University. She is a published author with over forty years’ experience of teaching and running workshops.

How to access Room 2.3
This event is in Room 2.3 which is on the first floor of York House Centre, London Road, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes.
This room is not accessible for wheelchair users – we do not have a lift (we are a Grade II listed building)
To get to Room 2.3, please use the side door to the right of the Main Hall, once in the building, please turn left and go through the corridor to the stairwell. Go up the stairs to the 1st (middle) floor and through the door facing you. Room 2.3 is ahead on the right.

How to find us and parking:
We have car parking in front of the building (with two disabled spaces), or across the road in the Hawkins Close Car Park.
To get to York House from Galley Hill, Fairfields or Whitehouse, you can catch the Number 6 or X6 bus.
